The appointment

Numbing cream goes on for 15 minutes, injection takes about 15 more. Expect some swelling for 24 to 48 hours (lips look their biggest the next morning, so don’t panic) and full settled results at two weeks. Bruising is possible; plan 2 weeks ahead of big events.
